Overview

This guide explains how to change the subject and body text of an email in MEDI-BOOK.

Procedure

1. First you must login to your MEDI-BOOK account (edu365.org.uk), this account must have Administrator privileges.

2. Select MEDI-BOOK from the bar at the top of the screen.

3. Now, select the Email Content Management menu.

4. You will now see the options for Email Content Management on the left hand side of the screen.

(Accident Report) Email Body – Here you can customise the main text that the recipient will receive in the email with the accident report. An example of this could be: Please find attached the accident report for your child, the report is in PDF format and is password protected with your child’s date of birth in the format (DD/MM/YYYY) forward slashes must be included.

(Accident Report) Subject Text – Here is where you set the customised subject text for the email that is sent with the accident reports. An example of this could be: “School Name” Accident Notification.

(Illness Report) Email Body – Here you can customise the main text that the recipient will receive in the email with the illness report. An example of this could be: Please find attached the illness report for your child, the report is in PDF format and is password protected with your child’s date of birth in the format (DD/MM/YYYY) forward slashes must be included.

(Illness Report) Subject Text – Here is where you set the customised subject text for the email that is sent with the illness reports. An example of this could be: “School Name” Illness Notification.

5. When finished, click Save Information, you will then receive a prompt saying “MEDI-BOOK email content updated successfully“.
